This fox squirrel’s diet is usually nuts, seeds, fruit and buds. Sometimes, they gather so many nuts and bury them in different places that they forget where they are buried and thus help in the reforestation of trees like the walnut tree. But I have been told by all too many golfers that they love sandwiches and cookies and anything with the name lunch on it. I originally titled this painting, “The Advisor” but changed it to the current title after hearing it spoken so often by those seeing the painting for the first time.
